My Mom and Kaylene threw me a baby shower a couple weeks ago at my Mom's house. We had an open house with both sides of our family and our friends. It was so much fun and we had an awesome turn out.
My mommy's went all out and made a delicious lunch with lots of goodies.
We were so thrilled that Christina came to our shower. She lives in Las Vegas, and drove up for the weekend just so she could make it. Thanks Tina!
Since it was an open house, Blakey came too. He spent a little time in the basement watching tv, but mostly he was up visiting with the family. I'm glad he decided to come and he had a good time. After all, it's his baby too!

I'm not really into all the cheesy baby shower games (like guessing what candy bar is squished in each diaper :P.) We did have a few optional activities that were fun. Anyone who wanted to could guess when baby will come, her weight, and the time of birth. The winner gets a Coldstone gift card. My mom also found a kit to make bibs. We had fun making them for baby Kaylie.
Everyone was SO generous and got us awesome gifts. Kaylie now has a full wardrobe and all the furniture/ baby equipment she needs.
My sister Katie got us a baby carrier that Blake really wanted. He was super excited and tried it on right away. He's going to be an awesome daddy.
Angie was super excited for me to open the present she made. It was a tutu! I'm all about accessories and am excited for my stylish little baby.
We had an awesome time at the shower! Thank you sooo much to everyone who came and supported us, and for your generosity. We love all the gifts. And a special thanks to my mom's who put it all together. You are the best!
I'm glad you had a fun shower! I wish Hannah and I could have been there! We have a gift for you that we will send back with mom and dad when they come. Good luck with everything. Both of you are going to be great parents!!!
