Blake and I debated if we should dress Kaylie up for Halloween. We didn't know if she would be born in time, and we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a costume that would only be used once. We decided not to worry about it, but when Halloween day arrived we found ourselves searching for newborn costumes. Everything was picked over, and the smallest sizes were still too big for our darling little girl. We decided to make Kaylie a costume instead. We bought some orange felt, and a couple hours later we had a darling baby pumpkin. Total cost? $1. Now that's what I'm talkin' bout!

Shawn and Annelise were over and wanted to carve pumpkins. Since we already painted some, Blake and I decided to carve one pumpkin together. We wanted to find a baby appropriate pattern and found this adorable one. We were too busy with Kaylie's arrival to remember to take a picture of our pumpkin, but it was so cute that I had to post the pattern we used :D.

You are so creative! How do you do it? I love her little costume. It looks like you just sewed it? I do not sew, so maybe you need to teach me!?! ha ha. jk. Anyways good job she is adorable. I especially love the little hat :)
